Have been searching for this branch of the family for years and still not much further forward except that I did find they moved from Nova Scotia (NS) to Prince Edward Island (PEI) circa 1860. With the names and approx. birth years for 8 sons you would think they could be easily traced but I can't find any of the sons after 1881!
Dorcas Nickerson (12 Nov.1825 Queens Co., N.S.-14 Nov.1909) m.(13 July 1844) Laughlin/Lachlan Morrison (6 Oct.1822 N.S.-aft.1901). Her parents were Warren Nickerson & Dorcas Gardner.

2. Warren Morrison (c1851 N.S.-aft.1881), seaman.
3. John Morrison (c1854 N.S.-aft.1881), seaman.
4. Howard Morrison (c1858 N.S.-aft.1881), fisherman. now found
5. Alexander Morrison (c1860 N.S.-aft.1881). now found
6. Magnus Morrison (c1862 P.E.I.-aft.1881), farm labourer. now found
7. James Morrison (c1864 P.E.I.) 1905- Grand River, PEI
8. Angus Morrison (c1867 P.E.I.-aft.1881).
