My Grandmother Nellie died when my Mum was very young.  She married David Williams in Shrewsbury in 1921 I think but before that she was married to a mr Wilde.  I am trying to find out anything about here but have no idea where to start as I know very little.  Can anyone help?

This looks like her first marriage (from freebmd)
March qtr 1908
McKie    Nellie       
Wilde    William       
Atcham    6a   1035

You should be able to find them on the 1911 census

Thankyou.  Where would I look to find her parents name or even where she came from

The marriage certificate should give fathers name.   

If you can locate her on the 1911 census it would give place of birth and age. Unfortunately we are not allowed to do 1911 look ups.

Thank you I will take a look.  Would the marriage certificate also show where she lived at th e time?

It should give an address but it may only be a town or road.   It could also be the same address as the groom.
