Arthur John DOOLEY, baptised Wagga 20 Feb 1870, born 1 August 1867, parents as Arthur and Mary DOOLEY.

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTZX-PHG
Alice Elizabeth Mary DOOLEY, baptised Wagga 20 Feb 1870, born 22 November  1868, parents as Arthur and Mary DOOLEY

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XT8T-LHG
Alice Mary DOOLEY, baptised St Michael’s, Wagga, 2 November 1894, born 28 Nov 1870, parents as Arthur DOOLEY and Mary TRIPP  (NSW BDM seems to have this birth as 1869  :)  or perhaps there were two daughters baptised Alice ... )

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XTZX-LHZ
Hannah Chapman DOOLEY, baptised Wagga 19 Nov 1871, born 28 Oct 1870, parents as Arthur and Mary DOOLEY

https://familysearch.org/ark:/61903/1:1:XT8T-LX6
Jessie Theresa Gertrude DOOLEY baptised St Michaels Wagga 10 Dec 1894, born 8 April 1887, parents as Arthur DOOLEY and Mary TRIPP.
JM notes that there may be transcription error, as there’s a birth registered in April 1881, but not in 1887  at NSW BDM online index.

NSW BDM Online INDEX – registered Wagga district DOOLEY, parents Arthur & Mary
1867 – Arthur J,  #17072
1869 – Alice E M  #18849
1875 – Agnes #20903
1878 – Albert J #23443
1881 – Jessie #22114

NSW BDM online INDEX registered Wagga, Arthur & Mary …
1870 – Hannah DEWLLEY #18178  … this spelling is likely a transcription error

Jessie’s 1881 birth registration should include the details of all her older siblings, as well as her parents origins etc.   The Official Transcription of that civil registration will have all the same details as a real deal certificate.

WOW. Thank you. That is so much information for me to work with.  I should be able to put. The Dooley side well and truely on my tree. Although I am not blood related - as he was my grandmothers first husband- but his children were my aunt and uncle. Thank you
I would like to ask one more question of you - my father was raised as a ward of the state in South Australia. How do I go about getting information in relation to this. He was raised in foster homes. I have a lot of his family history but would like to have info on why he was given into car - mi know his father was not a good person in and out of the courts and gaol.  His mother remarried and had another 12 children. Thank you again for all this help
