Birthplace in Cardiganshire

In 1911, in the Rhondda, at  RG14; Piece: 32252; Schedule Number: 283 I have a William David Morgan, b 1880.

He was born in Cardiganshire but can anybody interpret the place please.

I think it is an effort at Pen-y-bwlch. Certainly the Pen-y is clear enough.

Penybwlch did exist in the Parish of Llanychaearn according to Genuki
Southern or Southan [Hereford , Monmouthshire & Glos], Jenkins, Meredith and Morgan [Monmouthshire and Glos.], Murrill, Damary, Damry, Ray, Lawrence [all Middx. & London], Nethway from Kenn or Yatton. Also Riley and Lyons in South Africa and Riley from St. Helena.

In 1911 the census firms were completed by the head of the household.

Having looked at the census entry, I think his place of birth was Penrhyncoch, a few miles from Aberystwyth.

There is an entry in the 1881 census RG11/5449/90/1 address Garth, Penrhyncoch in the township of Trefeurig.   All surnames Morgans, all born Llanbadarn Fawr
