My father, Frederick William Powell, was born in Dundonald Park Cardenden in 1940. He was the son of Harry Arthur and Maud Powell, and had quite a few brothers and sisters.
My dad moved to Australia in 1960 after his parents died.
I'm trying to find anyone who remembers the family, and especially anyone who may be able to identify this photo. It was among my Dad's photos, so I know the person in it must have meant something to him.
I know it is not his father!
Somehow this man was connected to the Powell family, and I desperately want to identify him.
Harry Arthur Powell's parents also lived in Cardenden, in Cluny Square. They were George William and Emily Powell.
Other children of Harry and Maud were Ada, Mona, Florence, Frank, George and Celia.
If anyone knows of this family, orhas any other ideas how I could identify thisphoto I would be eternally grateful.
