Hi Carlene,

There are memorial stones on graves 307,306,304,303,299,298, and 291 in Section V1 so if you were planning to visit the Cemetery you should be able to find the location of grave 296. Let me know if you want details of these other graves.

Hi Ian, I'm looking for the grave of my nan at Harehills cemetery. I went today but I couldn't find it, and looking at the plan on the previous page I thought she was in G9. The last time I went the headstone was well worn & getting difficult to read so I suspect that it either became illegible or has fallen over.

Her name was Joan Alexander and she was buried in August 1980. I'd be grateful for any help locating the plot.

Thanks
Andy

Hi,

Welcome to RC.

I can't see either of them listed in records I have. Can you give more information as to dates of death.

Because they a relatively recent deaths is the reason they do not appear in the records I have.

I would suggest you contact Leeds Bereavement Service, Farnley Hall, Hall Lane, Farnley, LS12 5HA. Tel: 0113 3957446.

They will be able to give you details of the location of the grave.

Regards,
