OK, the online records only go as far as 1987, so that's why I couldn't find her. It also means I've no idea if her grave is anywhere near his.

Yorkshire Indexers have a plan which might help you with this, since you already know about hers:

http://www.yorkshireindexers.info/gallery/showimage.php?i=1489&c=85

Some of their content needs you to register and log in (free) before you can see it, but I don't know if it applies to this or not.
Researching among others:
Bartle, Bilton, Bingley, Campbell, Craven, Emmott, Harcourt, Hirst, Kellet(t), Kennedy,
Meaburn, Mennile/Meynell, Metcalf(e), Palliser, Robinson, Rutter, Shipley, Stow, Wilkinson

Looking on maps, it looks like she is either in U1 or U2. I know she wanted to be as near to her dad as she could be. Thank you so much for all your help...

If you phone Leeds City Council Bereavement Services and give them her date of death they will be able to give you the burial plot details at Harehills Cemetery.

Hi

Can anyone help me solve a family mystery?

My great grandfather Alfred Gaunt died 4th November 1918 and I'd assumed he was buried with his wife and pre-deceased children in the non-conformist area of Beckett Street cemetery (private plot 17503).  Having looked at the records it seems he wasn't buried at Beckett Street.

Any chance he was buried at Harehills cemetery?

Many thanks!
