Dollar newpapers 1914 ? Connell Connell waterwheel death
« on: Tuesday 20 August 13 02:36 BST (UK) »
Hi does anyone know if it is possible to access copies of the old Dollar newspapers of 1914 ? My great uncle Connell Connell was a boy 7 years old and died by being crushed by a waterwheel at the Rack Mill south of Dollar, I thought there may be some reference to his death outside just the death registers, thanks in anticipation cheers
Connell's from Dollar 1890-1930, and Lismore Island 1750-1880

Unfortunately you do not show your location in your profile so this might not help.

Alloa library has an index to the Alloa Journal ( they possibly have the papers as well I have not checked).
See-

If they don't hold the original newspapers they have microfilm copies

PS contact the library before visiting if microfilm is required it is held in store.
