Hiya John - was that her given name or married name ?...if it was her married name who did she marry and what year ??
added - well that surprised me - so many possible christenings for Ann Bytheway for 1800-1850 in Shropshire - do you know who her parents were by any chance ?

Was she buried 24th March 1850 at St Paul ,Knowbury ,Shropshire ??
ADDED...there is only ONE death in 1850 on freebmd for Ann Bytheway - and it is under Ludlow registration and is MARCH qtr =  jan/feb/march
the burial I found was on www.familysearch.org
so - we can take it that St Paul,Knowbury comes under Ludlow registration .
at least we now know what day and where she is buried ...

ADDED

garstonite, I quite agree we have a death registered in Knowbury on the IGI  in 1850 but it does not state a death age. Also Knowbury does not appear to fall under the Ludlow reg district according to the Frebmd reg dist list.

John
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Knowbury

it states Knowbury is a village near Ludlow - so 163 years ago it would have been under Ludlow registration almost certainly

I found this brilliant site today concerning the Bytheway name http://www.bythewaygenealogy.info/StPetersChurch.htm

On the deaths there is an Ann Bytheway died 21.3.1850 daughter of William so this might be the one buried on the 24th

PS this site is being let wound down - any volunteers to take it on?
