Hi,

Some online trees give his mother as Sophia Harrington and his spouse as Jestina Elderton, married at Elstree, Hertfordshire on 17 May 1869.

A possibility?

Marriages (from FreeBMD):

Richardson Gill   SepQ 1848   Kensington   3   358

Also on same page      Sophia Harrington.

They married on 4 September 1848 at St. Mary's, Paddington.  Richardson was a shoe maker, as was his father William.  Sophia's father shown as John Harrington, gardener.  Witnesses were John Harrington (made his mark) and Mary Ann Gill, who signed. Richardson made his mark but Sophia signed.

Christenings of William and Jestina's children Daisy, Richard and Mabel, all give them middle name of Harrington. Father is William Henry J Gill.
Other children dont have the Harrington middle name at christenings.
