Hi

Couldn't attach photographs on the look up board - Remembered your request and just happened to have a camera in the car. (Joking - it was an 80 mile trip) Hope these are okay.

Request here :- http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=659828.msg5056229#new

Back of both stones - no inscriptions - or worn away.

Thank you so much, I cant believe it.  You have made my day.  I think once I went to Caldbeck when I was very young with my mum and Auntie Greta (apparently named after Greta Bridge somewhere in Cumberland) but I have no memory of it.  I grew up in Manchester so it must have been quite a long journey.  I owe you big time that that, thank you so so much.  I am going to get them printed up tomorrow so that I can have a good look at them.  I have never seen two stones side by side.  thank you a thousand times over.  Pamx

Hi Sandra

Many thanks for that.  It is huge.  I thought it would be tiny.  She hated her name.  Everyone called her Gret-a and she prounced it "Greet-a".  It drove her mad all her life.  I wonder why they called her after a bridge, a new one on me.  It is lovely to see it, thank you.  One day I am going to visit it.
