Joseph Curran (1813-1892), born in Kilgowan. married Anna Sheridan(1829?33 - 1919) who was much younger than him. Together they had 12 Children.
Elizabeth 1861-1931- emigrated to the US and married a McKinley
Mary -1861 may have been a twin to the above perhaps my year is off
Margaret - no information
Bridget - 1862 - Married James Coffey, with him migrated to West Lothian for his work as a shale miner. Returned to Ireland and settled on Dublin's south side.
Anne 1868 - no information however she was single at the time of her father Joseph's death in 1892 as she was the informant on his death record
Jane - 1871 - no information
Alicia - 1874 - may have died young
Patrick - 1865-1941 - eldest son, stayed on the land, married and lived with his mother Anne on the land while other sibs migrated elsewhere
James MY GREAT GRANDFATHER (1866-1925) migrated to Glencannon in Wicklow, married my great grandmother Mary Murphy, migrated with sister Bridget and brother in law James to West Lothian for work as a shale miner and returned to Dublin before 1900. James was also a coal porter. Died in 1925 in Dublin.
Joseph (1872-) - migrated to Dublin and in and out of prison a number of times
Christopher "Christy" (1877- ) - migrated to Dublin and became a police constable

There is a Patrick Curran Kilgowan in the Kildare Observer accused of stealing a harness, case dismissed, in 1928.
Hope this link works

It only brings you to the search page, put in Curran press near button than kilgowan, than search.

Sinann - I have accessed much information about the Currans in the Kildare Observer but not this article. Thank you very much for tipping me off on this one :-)

It's been a while and you may already have this but the parish registers are now online and they confirm Mary was born 1 May 1861
Bridget 11 Nov 1862
Patrick 28 Feb 1865
Anne 22 Nov 1868
Jane 13 Feb 1871
Joseph  4 Aug 1872
Alicia 22 May 1874 Alice or Elsie
Christopher 12 Dec 1876
Thomas 26 July 1880

I can't see the others.

I assume this is James in 1911
http://www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Dublin/North_Dock/Spencer_Avenue/17012/

If he returned to Dublin before 1900 you would expect to find them in the 1901 Census but I can't find them.

If his age is correct in 1911 he was born c1858 not 1866 but Census ages particular in 1911 are often incorrect.

James and Mary's marriage

Anne and James married in Dunlavin 29th April 1858

Her parents James and Margaret from ? more than likely a mis-spelt Freynestown.

It's possible she had some of her children in her home place and they could be in the badly faded Dunlavin register.
