Hello. I am also researching my family tree and have found a James McBride 1664 Antrim, Ireland, D:1727 Antrim, Ireland
Married to a Catherine Vance.
I have his father and mother listed as James McBride 1635-1698 and Margaretha Boyle
1644 Ireland- 27 Dec 1683.
I have hit a brick wall beyond that. Have you discovered any more?

Quite impressive to get so far back in researching an Ulster family but wonder what the source(s0 would be for these details so I did some googling- well actually once- and found information-

My first thought is rubbish-
An Andrew McBride born 1760 in Antrim, Ireland, married 1735 in Albany, New York then married 1737 in Bute, Scotland, then died 1771 in  Dublin. Then-
PARENTS James MacBride, 1664–1727 MARRIAGE #1: 16 October 1689, Antrim, County Antrim, Ireland, United Kingdom; Catherine Vance, 1668 MARRIAGE #2 James McBride, 1682–1727 Elizabeth McMillan, 1684–1706 but also Son of William McBride and Jane McBride.
