Look up please
« on: Sunday 08 September 13 12:22 BST (UK) »
After several years of searching i have finally found my gggAunt Elizabeth Jane Wilson born 1853 keighley, Yorkshire. She married Edward Nichols when she was 51 and he was 54, the marriage took place in London 1907.

He was from Norfolk and his fathers name was also Edward Nichols, on the marriage cert it says that Edward's father's occupation was a bandmaster.

Can anyone give me any info on the Edwards family?

many thanks

Ken

Hi, I see he was born in Norwich.

There are only 2 Edward Nichols with father Edward in Norwich in 1861. Neither seems to have been a bandmaster.

1.  Piece: 1210 Folio: 52 Page: 32      Registration District: Norwich. Edward born 1851 Father
Edward mother Rebecca plus  5 children. Living at Flower Pot Farm, Oak Street, St Martins At
Oak, Norwich. I can't make out Edward senior's occupation.

2.  Piece: 1220 Folio: 3 Page: 1  Registration District: Norwich. Edward born 1853. Father Edward ,
mother Mary A plus 7 children. Living at 30, Distillery, Distillery Street, Heigham, Norwich.
Edward senior is a Solicitors Clerk.
