Hi i've got my great grandfather's sister - Mary Perry marrying a Samuel Campbell in Marylebone middlesex in feb 1865 and from their census records i know they moved to scotland. the 1871 & 1881c say kirkmaiden, and the 1891 & 1901 say stoneykirk. Sadly I'm not going to get time to complete this, so what i would like to do is try and find another scottish relation or tree from their line with the hope that it might interest them. I can offer them two more perry ancestors up from mary in wiltshire
The only one i've found to marry had 3 kids, two of which went to canada and the other died in flanders. If not, this thread might be of use to someone in the future. Their details are:
Mary Campbell nee Perry bn Charlton (nr Pewsey) Wiltshire married 12 feb 1865 marylebone
Samuel Campbell bn Ireland bn 1833, marriage record said soldier, later censuses a labourer
I've got their censuses to 1901c but i don't know what happened after that.
Children:
John Campbell bn 05.12.1866 penninghame, 71c, 81c, no 91c, marries 19.6.1892 (i have the record) to Mary Coburn @ old luce. he is an ostler. their 1901c is in stirling.
John Coburn Campbell 1893-1917 died flanders, spouse dorothy v b Philp. (source??)
Mary Minlin Perry Campbell 1895-1970 married in 1915 in canada
William Campbell 1873 moved to canada 1924.
Samuel Mccredie Campbell 30.03.1869 penninghame, no 1871c, infant death / wrong family?
Mary Rebecca Campbell 12.9.1870 kirkmaiden, 71c & 1901c + daug mary Campbell, 1 mo, bbd?
William Campbell bn 16.02.1873 kirkmaiden, 81c,
Emma Campbell bn 1875 kirkmaiden, 81c, 91c in stoneykirk as serv
Caroline Campbell bn 1878 stoneykirk, 81c, 91c, 1901c as serv
Isabella Campbell bn 1880 kirkmaiden, 81c, 91c,
sorry it's a bit long. Mary Perry had 9 siblings some of which had large families so it would be nice to complete her and link up some more cousin's.
thanks n
