No luck on the 1851 for Robert and Margaret sorry.  I've found Jemima and Ellen (christened Helen?) though I think ... on Nethergate?

Several trees on A/try have a death record for Margaret in 1844?  Not looked into this to check.

For anyone else looking elder siblings all born Perth, youngest two in Dundee, mother's surname Ower.

Looks as if a son, also Robert, married a Margaret Scott in Dundee in 1857.  You can download marriage cert from Scotland's People, marriage cert would confirm if his parents were alive in 1857.

Hello Gali,

Thanks for looking.

Yes, the name is OWER but as Owen as a middle name in many records in Australia.

I have no knowlewdge of a son Robert.  Son James is the one in my tree. He married in Australia on 3 Feb 1864 but has not been found in shipping records yet.

Regards,

Fred
