hi can any body help me? i'm looking for the the occupents I know at least the name of shaw. all deceased now. of 126 whitehawk road and 7 Norwich place or drive lower bevendean. in 1946/1956.on the electoral roll.
at the moment brighton are moving all their archives to the keep. so naturally I cannot get them
until they open that...which of coarse they cannot give a date.

I would greatly appreciate any help.

I thought I'd pop into Hove library to see what they still have on the shelves, but for Brighton they only have 1961 onwards.  In that year Kate M, Jean G and Joan P Shaw are at 126 with no Shaws at the Bevendean address.  Looks like you will have to wait for The Keep to open which apparently is now November.
Rutter, Sampson, Swinerd, Head, Redman in Kent.  Others in Cheshire, Manchester, Glos/War/Worcs.
