double check that parentage for Thomas
in 1851 an 'Ann' Cown is shown as mother with mary corlett als [cain] head as wife
The Ann is actually JANE and she is mother of thomas - an illegitimate child of Thomas Corlett(of Maughold as in presentments in 1818 [see www.manxnotebook.com under subject presentments]) and Jane Cown [Cowin] bapt Maughold 18180913 - remember Manx illegits until civil reg in 1877/8 were known by father's name if affiliated - they are together in 1841 in port-e-vullen - Thomas is prob bur Maughold 18770304 age 59 (there might be an obit in newspapers - www.imuseum.im)

ETA the suggested John + mary als Kissack were living at Rhenab - John is buried Mau 18480419 age 77 from 'rhenab' and Mary bur bur Mau 18500320 age 75 also from Rhenab - living alone at Rhenab in 1851 is a Thomas Corlet journeyman shoemaker - now he might have changed trade and left his wife (tho he was with her in 1861 tho absent in 51, and in 51 + 61 is a joiner) but doesn't quite gell to me - Family search is notorious for badly constructed Manx trees done on matching what to a non-Manx are rare/uncommon names but on Island were very common and tracing some trees esp if an illeg child is concerned is tricky + error prone - 1st rule of Manx genealogy always look for conflicting evidence
any thing with a Manx Connection
