Hello Again

Ada Callow, born 16 June 1896 in Aston Birmingham Baptised 3rd July 1896 in Aston St. Peter & St Paul.
She is on the 1911  age 14 with her parents and siblings:

Address: 30 Perrott St, Winson Green, Birmingham

Source Citation: Class: RG14; Piece: 18033.

I cannot find her on the 1901 Census and I have looked at every outlet which I have.

She married John G. Petford in 1924 in Birmingham
and then in 1943, married a second time to Barry Hayes St.Ledger. She married in the name of Petford, her first marriage. I don't know if her first husband died, or if they divorced.
Can you help, yet again:)

Can you include details of her parents and any siblings born before 1901 - or do you already have them in 1901 and Ada is not with them?

Have you checked freebmd for a death prior to 1943?  What was her marital status on her 1943 marriage cert - widow or divorcee

Lucy (transcribed by Ancestry as Lily) was b 18 April and baptised 1 May 1901. Address looks like 1 bk 405 Camden St (possibly 105 Camden St) in the parish of All Saints (Ancestry include Hockley in the parish name).

This might help locate them?

I've checked the enumerator routes ( Ancestry ) & Camden St. even no's. are there & odd no's. from 207 to 403.
Odd no's. up to 207 & after 403 are missing.
It is 1 Bk. 405.
FindMyPast has 405 but no back houses.

Hi

Neither Joseph b.c 1899 nor his parents Ada and Alfred are on the 1901 Census.
The others were born after the census date.

Have made a note about Lucy (Lily) Callow. Will see what that brings up.

I have checked deaths prior to 1943, for Petford, but cannot find one.

I am sending for the marriage certificate for Ada and Barry Hayes St.Ledger, to find out if she was a widow or not.

John George Petford birth registered March qtr 1901 in Birmingham per freebmd

There is a death in 1992 in Norfolk for a John George Petford b 6.12.1900.  A birth in December would probably only be registered in the new year so would fall in the March qtr

It's the only birth/death for both christian names so looks like they divorced
