Hi, in 1924, Oscar and my great grandmother had a severe car accident, Oscar was driving a Rolls Royce at the time and his wife was a passenger. My great grandmother, Minnie and her husband, sister and 2 children were in their Ford car. Sadly, my great grandmother died of severe shock with concussion and head/body injuries and her sister also died from a fractured skull. Another family with children were involved in their Ford car which was also . One of the children, a boy was thrown through the glass windscreen of the Ford yet "Miraculously" survived according to the rough copy of the newspaper cutting I have.

The address is 35 Westbourne Road Birkdale Southport. They are large houses, I live very near to Westbourne Road if you want a photo.

Sorry didn't check the date of the original postings!
