marriage of John Malanny and Mary Davy c1838
« on: Sunday 13 October 13 21:18 BST (UK) »
Hello
can anyone help me to find this marriage.

John Malanney and Mary Davy were married in Ireland, somewhere. They had 2 of their children born in Ireland. Patrick in about 1839 and Thomas in 1843.In the 1891 census Thomas states his birthplace as Sligo.

By 1844 they have arrive in Kingston upon Hull and they remained in England after that.

I have found about 10 different spellings of Malany, Mulanny, mallany etc etc in this family so he could be any similar name.

thanks

Heather

I have just looked at the indices on RootsIreland and in 1836 there is are marriages listed for both Mary DAVEY and for John MULLANY. Does anyone have access to this to see if they make a couple?

Thanks

Heather
