Bielby barker of Bridlington

Born 1810 nafferton.died 1845 at Bridlington.trying to find more info on him.was a policeman.not sure where he lived if married,how died.any help much appreciated.cheers ???

Thanks ever so much for your help .it would appear my g great grandfather was called bielby barker.born nafferton.his father Michael had a brother also called bielby barker.  The guy who was in Bridlington.did not realise this.he was the the son of Samuel barker and Eleanor bielby.would appear one of his sons john ended up in Sunderland.

Hi,

There appears to be quite a few records held at the Beverley Treasure House archive for Bielby Barker (using the online archive search), his name appears as a witness on a number of prosecutions, also looks like he was assaulted whilst carrying out his duty.
