Blore Family

Hello, Is anyone researching the Blore family, Richard Blore was I believe, from Wingfield, Derbyshire, he married Sarah Robinson, from Grantham, in 1901 they are living at New Somerby, Grantham, at no.1 Granville Street, her brother Charles and wife Lizzie lived at no.3 Granville Street.......ring any bells with anyone ?..........Del.

Jackie, Thank you for that, I assume that Belper is, or was , the registration district for South Wingfield, they are not far apart, it is really Richard's wife's brother, and sister-in-law, Charles and Lizzie Robinson that I am trying to trace, they vanish after 1911, it looks like Richard died in 1941, at Grantham.........Del

Hello, Thank you for the reply.......I am really looking for information on Sarah's younger brother, Charles Robinson, born at Grantham in 1873, he married  Lizzie Herd there in 1898...... I believe that they moved away from the area sometime after 1911.....trying to find out where and when they died, any information would be most welcome........Regards Del.

In 1901 Sarah  and Richard were at No.1 Granville Street, Grantham.......Charles and Lizzie were living at No. 3, so they would have been near neighbours......Del.

It is possible Son Stanley from 1911 Census married 1929 in Warwickshire (FreeBMD)


FreeBMD also has a Charles Robinson Death Reg 1938 Coventry, Warwickshire, age 65 (1873)
+ at least 2 possibles for Lizzie;
Lizzie Robinson,   Dec 1961  - Nuneaton, Warwickshire, age 84, birth c 1877
Lizzie Robinson,    Mar 1954  - Coventry, Warwickshire, age 75, birth 1879

Trish, Thanks for that......just seen that Charles Robinson death at Coventry, very interesting......yes son Stanley did marry 1929 to Beatrice Nellie Amos at Coventry......Charles was a baker by trade and there is a slight possibility that he worked for the Co-op....in 1911 he, Lizzie and Stanley were at No. 9 Brownlow Street, Grantham.....which at that time was a Co-op store.......I wonder if they moved to Coventry with that firm ?.......Del.

They may have moved much earlier if it is them.
Have you tried the 1939 register for Lizzie?
May be living with Stanley hopefully!
