Help. John R Scott / George woid

I need help. John was my Grans grandad.
Here parents were George wood and Emily scott.
From
Borthwuck sheilds. John I have discovered was a carpenter own undertakers .
Ormiston farm I have also, not sure if that's where he lived,
Any help would be great don't know wife / partner to John, if there were any more kids to Emily

I know George wood died 12/2/73 don't know where
Emily died 27/2/36. My gran brought up the family but I don't know who the family was.. As she's also passed away,

Have you looked at the marriage certificate for George Wood and Emily Scott ?

No don't know how old John was.
Not looked for a marriage certificate,for George and Emily.
They had one daughter, my gran.
My mum thinks john's grave is in roberton possible Emily's too,

I've had a look for marriages in England/Scotland between 1910 and 1936 for a George Wood and Emily Scott , nothing really stands out 

Was your gran born in Scotland ? If so her parents marriage details should be on her birth certificate.
If the birth was after 1912 you would need to order the certificate from Scotlandspeople as it wont be available online.

As far as I am aware my gran was born in Hawick in 19/11/1920
Will have to contact my uncle sure he must have certificate somewhere,
Will have tk order the cert I think

Were the parents John R Scott and Lizzie Anderson ?

The 1901 Census transcription has Emily K E R Scott b. c1895 Hawick , father John R Scott , mother Lizzie A Scott , living Hawick Roxburgh.
