Mary could have been divorced before 1970 and remarried another Fred surname starting with "M".

She married in 1957 so if she divorced & remarried it would have been between 1958-1970

There is a Mary E Burlinson marriage in 1965 in Sunderland and another in 1976 in Bristol - neither to a "Fred M".    The 1965 surname was Miller and although there is a death in 2006 in Sunderland for a Mary Elizabeth Miller - her birthdate was January 1928 whilst your Mary was born much later in 1928

Trying to find Mary Elizabeth Mycock B 1928 in Atherstone Warks to Hannah Mycock ( nee Ford )
 and Thomas Mycock.

Mary married Frederick Burlinson Dec 1957 in Atherstone Warks . Frederick was b 1918 in Tyne & Wear . Fred died in 1976 Wandsworth. No mention of Mary on death certificate.
I  last heard of Mary about !970.

Could have divorced and remarried. If she is still alive Mary would be in her 80's.Mary lost contact
   with her family about  1976.

I can't see a death under her married name.

There is the problem that if she is still alive you will need to remove her name, as Rootschat has a no living person policy.

Get her birth certificate for exact date of birth, to help to confirm any suspected deaths including for Elizabeth Mary, or just Mary.

But if she was born in 1928 then it is very likely that she is still alive.

Her record on the 1939 register has been opened in the last 30days inferring she has passed away.

Now as I understand it, that would have happened almost automatically if she had died before 1991 and her death was recorded on the register. Or FindMyPast have been matching entries in the death index with the register and opening people or someone has submitted a death cert to have her record opened.

Or this may be the wrong person.
