KERR.... Proleek, Dundalk, Co Louth.
« on: Monday 04 November 13 15:59 GMT (UK) »
Hi.
On behalf of my friend, I am searching for any information relating to Archibald Kerr or his son James Kerr who married Jane Campbell c 1847 in Dundalk. James Kerr jnr (1862-1946) who married Anne Jane Armstrong in Dundalk 1888.
For James snr. I have Charlotte Kerr b 1866. For James jnr. I have Eliza Jane, Thomas Henry, Wm. Robert, John Henry, Mabel and Ethel all born between 1889 and 1899 in Dundalk.
Any further info would be very much appreciated.
Regards
Brian

Here's the family of James and Anne Jane Kerr in 1901-names slightly different to what you've posted: Lillie (probably Elizabeth), Thomas James, William, John, Mable, Ethel-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1901/Louth/Ballymascanlan/Proleek/1563009

Same family in 1911 with children Eliza Jane, Thomas Jas, William Robt, John Henry, Mabel Harriett- one child death (Ethel)-
www.census.nationalarchives.ie/pages/1911/Louth/Ballymascanlan/Proleek/579701

Possible death for Ethel- https://familysearch.org/pal:/MM9.1.1/FRN8-7ZD
Away sorting out DNA matches... I may be gone for some time many years!

Hi,
thanks for the reply, I'm pretty certain what you found is correct. I had passed similar information to my friend, who has been searching for sometime without success.
The information on Ancestry and Famlysearch is where I have tried previously.
