Excellent link NJ.   Some wonderful information to be found there.

Not sure about this one from yesterday though.  Messers Cam and Os been appointed Lords Commissioners of Her Majesty’s Treasury.

They really have got their hands on the money now. ::)

The new search system seems to be more intitive than the old. Worth a try for those baffled by the old one! It's still in beta, so I imagine they'll be pleased to receive feedback.

Among the things:
All officer promotions in Army, Navy and Air Force
All honours (MBE, whatever) and gallantry awards - including citations
All bankruptcies
Notices of naturalisation, changes of name, dissolutions of partnerships
Announcements of probate (and this way you'll often find executors as well as testators, revealing new avenues to explore)
....just as a starter. A hugely rich goldmine of information
