A bit of a long shot but there is a Richard LOVET listed on the CCED (
http://www.theclergydatabase.org.uk/jsp/search/index.jsp ) as being a Vicar Choral of Hereford Cathedral in 1567. He was 40 years old and was also supposed to be the rector of St (blank) (sic), Hereford deanery.
Does anyone know where he came from and where he went? Was he local (as far as I know LOVETT is not a Herefordshire name?)? Did he have any other family in Hereford? Did he leave a will?
