John Dillon WW1

I have the 1914 star medal of John Dillon. I am try to trace any information about him.
I have his medal index card but I do not understand some of the information on it.
It states His numbers and corps.

Connaught Rangers  3766

Royal Irish Fusiliers 26947

Royal Munster Fusiliers  G/1417

On the MIC it also says  under Action taken B.W.T.U.M retd (1743 K.R. 1912) 8153/Adt x
x Res with CR NW/1/2186Y

I also found another card for him.

Under Royal Muster Fusilier G/1417 enlisted 5/7/10  cause of discharge  5/7/18 AO 265/17 2 (a)
Action taken List A/827

Please can anyone help? I have been trying to find his Army records but I can't locate them.

He was a pre war regular with the Connaught Rangers  he also served at some stage with the other two.
The British War medal and Victory Medal he was also entitled to were returned to medal office for amendments maybe a spelling error of name or something.
He was discharged to pension with a silver war badge and will have an entry on the silver war badge rolls on ancestry too.
Only 30% of records survived the Blitz of ww2.

Thank you so much for the wonderful information. I could not find anything else on
him on ancestry when I went to the library. I did try and look under pension with all of
his numbers and couldn't find him. I will go back and have another look.
