Chart Printing in USA
« on: Friday 22 November 13 10:06 GMT (UK) »
Hello, I want to send a family chart to the USA at the same time avoiding the high freight costs. So the easiest way would be to get one printed in the USA for them to ship locally.

People who are "specialised" genealogical chart printers tend to charge the earth. Here in the UK I use a company that specialises in wide format printing. And their prices are extremely reasonable, A chart 841 mm X 2500 mm printed on 80 g paper cost me just over £12 so that is the sort of printer I am looking for in the USA, preferably Florida.

The problem I have encountered by doing an Internet search seems to lead me to banner printers who charge quite a lot and really not geared for the sort of printing I have requested mainly they are using plotters.

What I am looking for is a a general printer and copying service that happens that have something like an Epson 9900 machine. That can print me a similar chart on 24 lbs bond paper. By printing in this way the chart should not be expensive and allows people to scribble and make other notations on the paper.

Can anyone help me who may have dealt with such a printing service?
