Looking for the parents of William John Caffell
Birth 1808 in Frome, Somerset, England
Death January 1886 in Monmouthshire, United Kingdom
Married Mary Anne Ludlow (1811-1842) and Susannah Bush (1823-1894)

Any help would be really appreciated as am at a total dead end :-(

Have you got his marriage certificate to Susannah Bush as that should give you his father's name?

No I don't have the certificate for either marriage

Here is the second marriage - that might be the only way to go, unless anyone here has access to the parish records. I can't see him on the subscription sites, Family Search, Freereg or Somerset Online Parish Clerk.

According to the Bath UK BMD website http://www.bathbmd.org.uk/marriages.php the marriage took place at the Clutton Register Office- so there won't be a parish record,you'll need to buy the marriage cert.
