Hi!
    Can anyone help with the following?

I have a James Fairiss baptised 28 September 1729 Dumfries, son of a William Fairiss. There is a marriage of a William Faries to a Catharin Smith (daughter of Robert) on 29 December 1722 at Dumfries. I think these could be James parents?

Cant find any other children of this marriage or any information on parents of William and Catharin?

Any help much appreciated! :)
