Have since found that Patrick Cleary had 3 Siblings
http://www.cwgc.org/find-war-dead/casualty/38163/CLEARY,%20P

Patrick born 1890 in 28 Bishop St parents Patrick Cleary and Mary McDonnell
John    born 1892 in 23 Lr Stephen St
Laurence born 1893 same address
Mary Josephine in 1896 in 1 Blackpitts
between 1896 and 1901 i cannot find any obvious deaths for the parents nor obvious census return either.

But in 1901 Laurence and John are in a childrens home

Does anyone know if there were home children sent to America.
Laurence Cleary was in the Prevention of cruelty to children's home in 1901 in Dublin (see reply 46 above)with his brother John now it looks like he was in Manhattan,New York by 1910 as a boarder.
I did a search 4 yrs either side of his birth 1893 and it seems he is the only one of that name born in Ireland

Looks like Mary Godsil's second husband John Foster died 1933 age 78 in Ballysax the informant was his son John 357 here
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/deaths_returns/deaths_1933/04867/4316014.pdf
his son John seems to have stayed in same area and married in 1934 to Elizabeth Elliott
https://civilrecords.irishgenealogy.ie/churchrecords/images/marriage_returns/marriages_1934/08965/5244955.pdf
noteing that this may have been a double wedding as Elizabeth Elliott's sister Bridget married Charles Monaghan same day and each couple signed as witnesses on each others weddings
