Think there are only 3 possible for john kings death by the way.

December 1855 Buckingham(3a 299)
December 1855 Winslow(3a 272) My guess for it!!
June 1859 Buckingham(3a 296)

Kev, why do you favor the Winslow location over the Buckingham ---  I'm not familiar with that town --  is it closer to Steeple Claydon than Buckingham or is it some detail in the record you are seeing?

I fyou have a look on the genuki site under england/ bucks/ steeple claydon where he must have died really.

It says 5 1/2 mile sfrom winslow and 6 miles from buckingham, but it kind of hints that winslow was the registration district. But not definate

okay --  will check that out ---   was @ genuki today trying to figure out another one of those jurisdictional  things ---  confusing  ---  just like trying to figure out Virgina and West Virgina counties circa 1850 in the US  --  impossible!
