age of marriage partner

I am trying to find the age of James ALLEN who married Lizzie ROUTLEDGE at Morpeth
in Northumberland in the Sep Qtr 1920. Lizzie was born in 1897 in Cumberland but I don't know if her whole family moved to Northumberland or if she just moved there to be married. Any help at all would be much appreciated - I'm trying to find some sort of birthdate for James.

Next Census they are back in Northumberland
