William Suggett born Old Ford, Middlesex, England 1890 was with the 2nd Battalion South Wales Borderers in South Africa in 1911. That agrees with what was on the headstone inscription for the daughter Eileen Violet.

This William Suggett could also have had a father called John Suggett who died Q4 1899 Islington District London - 1b227

John Suggett - John married Annie LEE daughter of Charles LEE on 20 Feb 1882 in St James the Great, Bethnal Green, Middlesex. Annie was born about 1865 in Islington, London.

Children of the marriage - listed under No 40

Sandra,
Thank  you so very much for all the info; you sent,   Charles was born 1899 & William in 1891, both from islington, London,    their wife's were Margaret & Ruth,   so you definitely have the right family,    we seemed to have spread around the world a bit over the years, a great thing finding them in Canada though,  thank you so much again, very much appreciated
