Hi Marg there wasn't a date of birth only aged 72. The baptism of Edward's son William was 15 april 1759 that was the only one to be likely. Knowing his age could be out at his death and not knowing his age at baptism proved difficult.

I asked LRO for a copy of the marriage of Thomas Marston and Mary Kilby but they did not marry in Leics . So no luck with the witness search. I have one last idea if someone would be kind enough to help me. That is to find a death for Catherine Marston nee Prole in Queniborough before 1783 to see if she was a first wife of William.                                                      I will be so grateful for this information.

This is like an itch you can't scratch !         I have found a little info about Joseph Smith a witness to William and Mary's marriage at Birstall. He married Dorathy Kilby of Queniborough sep 25 1816 in Birstall. So she's probably related to Mary   (Kilby) , Mary's father was George and Dorathy's Richard.                                        I haven't found anything regarding William's siblings and hope someone can help me with their marriages for any extra information please.
