Hi wonderful researchers
Thank you for all replies. Yes James M. did marry Mary Rourk 18 Oct 1824 that is the right one.  Michael (son) m. Mary Ann Hopwood. 1861 census shows son James and wife Maria (Bamford) yes that is right. 
What would be my chances of finding both James Macklin and Mary Rourk/e birth in Ireland?

I'm happy with James Macklin death and burial,many thanks.
Edward and Selina's marriage OK too. I'll post another one on Selina in the 1871 census living with John Oliver as his wife, can't find a marriage.

There is a funeral record in Oldham for
Doris Macklin died 12/1/2007 aged 77
all the details including her address are on www.oldham.gov.uk

There is this marriage
William Robinson MACKLIN and  Doris Madeline PETTS in 1948 Manchester Register Office or Registrar Attended
