Thomas Stephenson of Helmington Row

Hi!
    Can anyone help with the following?
 
I have a Thomas Stephenson born circa 1817 - 1820, possibly at Alston Cumbria, son of a Thomas Stephenson and his wife Hannah.

Thomas married a lady called Mary (on census returns gives place of birth as Brough Westmorland, circa 1818 - 1822), and had a daughter Anna Stephenson born circa 1848 at Coundon.

I cannot find a marriage for Thomas Stephenson to Mary, nor a birth for their daughter Anna? On the census returns Anna is also listed as Hannah and Annie.

On one of the census returns Mary Stephenson's mother is listed as Maria Parker, born Yorkshire circa 1790?

Anna Stephenson married William Oliver in 1872 at Auckland (I believe he also died in 1872) and then in 1877 at Auckland Isaac Bailey (as Ann Oliver). By her second marriage she had a daughter Mary Ann Bailey born 1878 Auckland.

So......have you discounted the birth of Hannah Stephenson, 2nd q 1847, Auckland 24, 5?
