1911 Census Cullenboylegan/Moate Missing?
« on: Tuesday 17 December 13 00:13 GMT (UK) »
Ive found someone in the 1901 census in the townland of Cullenboylegan in the DED of Moate and when I searched in the 1911 cenus I couldnt find them. Just to make sure I then went to check the rest of the people listed in the townland and couldnt find it. Does anyone know if the area was spelt wrongly in the 1901 census or if missing in the 1911?

It does appear to be missing, quite a few places are in the 1911 census.
If you Search by Place in both census it's missing on the 1911 list.
Cartronkeel also seems to be missing.
I think you need to contact Westmeath heritage centre.

Have you tried the Council or the Library

by 1911 they might come under a different area.
