Good morning from Australia, Thank you Sarah for your contact.

Hello Carol, As you know I have not been on Rootschat for some years, mainly because I have completed all that I can find of my own family history.  The Irish don't want to be found.

If I am correct you are the person that I was helping in the first place.  regarding George Ridg(e)way.  I am sorry to hear that you have not found out anything new on this fellow.  If you are the person I am thinking of, wasn't George in a war in America?

I think we made contact because I too was following a Ridg(e)way family from Ireland.

Anyway, I wish you luck in locating George.

Regards
Lesley

Hi Carol, good to contact you again, as I said my Ridgeways' don't want to be found but I am helping a guy at present and he has two Irish convicts in his family so you may see me back on this site before too long.
Cheers
Lesley
