Bacoba, welcome to Roots Chat.  Do you have a death or marriage certificate for Patrick?  Maybe it would help to start a thread about Patrick on the US or Co. Monaghan sections of the board, and someone could find something further.

Sorry just noticed that Patrick's wife was Anne but they may be related.
There are a few Brodigan wills on there you might find someone related.

Dathai

According to the 1851 census Catherine was the daughter, so he may still be the right Patrick, although it does say M(arried) not W(idowed). If any help is required tracing this Patrick let me know.

I don't know if this is the Brodigan family I'm searching for, but it seems like a good place to ask questions. I'm trying to find the parents of Francis Fraser Brodigan who was born ca 1871 and was raised by his aunt, Flora Fraser in Gibraltar. On numerous documents he gives his parents names as Francis Brodigan and Mary Fraser, but I can't find any record of any of them. He stated that he was a British subject, but gave his race as "Irish" on a number of immigration records and passport applications.  He shows up on the 1878 census of Gibraltar, living with his aunt, Flora Fraser, but that's the earliest official record I can find on him. I suspect he was born somewhere in the UK and that his parents died young and he was sent to live with family in Gibraltar. If anyone has any information on this line, I'd be grateful to see it. Thanks in advance...
