Ah! I see!

This is a follow-up to your previous thread:
http://www.rootschat.com/forum/index.php?topic=671726.

And probably a complete red herring?  ???

If Henry Harding/Isaacs used 2 names, there are many reasons that could account for this:
His mother remarried, and one name was his step-father's name.
He was illegitimate, and used Real father's name as well as mum's name?
Adopted? Although legal adoption didn't take place until 1926?
Professional/inheritance reasons?

You simply must get a look at the marriage certificate! ;D

Many thanks again both. I will purchase marr/Cert if only to end that line of research. From Paske one name studies which is freely available on-line Henry Harding supposed to have met Bessie Radford in Newport, Mon. but info. is vague, they then went to London. I have investigated a Henry Harding who Married 1903 Newport, Mon - Clara Wintle - this Henry died 1939.

Very doubtful now if Henry Harding/Isaacs is related to me. The clue I picked up on is that they married at Hendon which is the same district that Henry's son was also registered in 1906 and wondered if the couple went to same District.  Wishful thinking I suppose.
Thanks again, suggestions always appreciated. Syljun :)
