Hi

I have been researching the history of my new house in Enderby Leicestershire. I found that Jasper & Irene Leech lived in my house in 1957 but the house was empty in 1958.

I found Irene’s headstone in Enderby cemetery yesterday. She was from Chesterfield. She died in Dec 1985.. Jasper died in Leicester in 2000

Hope this helps
Una

Hi Mary,
I’m so pleased you contacted me. I’m at 28 Rawson Street. I would love to hear more about your parents. According to the electro roll, Jasper & Irene stayed in this house with Charles Washington until he died in 1957
I wondered how Irene decided to come to leicester from Chesterfield. I do hope Irene had a happy life.
