Ruth Hale (nee Young) and Georgina Jane Hale - Death lookup

I hope I have posted this in the right place...if not admin please feel free to move.

I'm looking for any info on the deaths of Ruth Hale (nee Young) (d. approx. 1866) and her daughter Georgina who died shortly after the 1871 Channel Island Census. At the time of their deaths they were living at 20 Aquila Rd, St Helier, Jersey. They both worked at the British & Foreign School at St Helier.

I can't seem to find death certificates, cemetery records or newspaper death notices. Being open Brethren shouldn't make a difference to record keeping should it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Jerripedia has no records after 1842. If they died in Jersey the records should be in the death indexes, I will take a look when the Archive re-opens next week.

Thank you so much la grande-methe...I can't tell you how much I would appreciate that.

You may find a death of another Hale woman in the death indexes. Apparently Ruth's husband, James went on to remarry in 1869 but sadly his new wife died a short six months later. Her name is unknown but I would assume she took on the Hale name.

Thanks Stewart for raising this. Beverley's original post of 2011 is what alerted me to Rootschat. I believe Beverley may be a distant cousin and have tried to contact to no avail.  I don't believe her request at the time was answered.

Ruth Young, wife of James Hale died 3rd June 1866 age of 41 years 7 months, buried the 5th June. Minister Rev John Crocker. Plot 26/15/F

Georgina Jane Hale died the 21st of June 1873 age of 20 years 4 months, buried the 24th of June

It's cleared up some questions that I had in relation to Georgina's death. Previously documented family history stated she died in infancy which I can now refute.
