I am searching for Fred Sutcliffe and any family connected to him. He was born in 1911 I think in Halifax He worked at Percy Shaw road stud and Halsteads engineering.his first wife was Alice Higgnett

Hi again, apologies I forgot to welcome you to Rootschat, Fred seems to have another brother post 1911 ie a Wilfred H Sutcliffe June qtr 1915 Halifax 9a 755 Mothers maiden name Hasney

Wish I could locate a marriage Sutcliffe/Hasney? Maybe Fred's mother was a widow?

You cant tell from the records, it only gives the mother's maiden name.

What was Fred's father's name?
