Thank you jim1 for your reply
                                                                                                                                              (A) is a postcard  - I've attached a scan. My Granny who was born 1889 is on the right. She began working as a farm servant approximately 1903 when she would have been 14 and she married in 1913. I'm guessing here but I think the photo would have been taken between between 1903-1913.

(B) Do you think the photographers name could give any clues? I don't know who the man is so I have no more details I'm afraid.

(C) Is mounted on plain cardboard with no markings on the back. Again I don't know who the man is

Thank you again

pic. 1 isn't pre war.
The women seem to be dressed in some sort of costume as this isn't normal daywear, however the skirt length convention would still apply & these lengths are too short for 1903-13.
The children are dressed in styles that emerged during WW1 particularly the boy's low slung belt from around 1915 on.
I don't think you'll get any closer with pic.2.
Pic.3 is a bit of a conundrum because the general style of this is 1880's but the cardstock looks Edwardian so this may be a reprint of an 1880's photo taken in the early 1900's.

Again thank you for your reply jim 1. The photo was probably taken at the farm where she worked and I the clothes the women are wearing is what was worn by female farm servants at the time. I have attached another photo taken at the same time which includes two male workers.  This is also a postcard with a stamp box unlike the previous one I posted.
The help and advice given on RootsChat is excellent and very helpful - thank you and well done to everyone  involved.

I've attached the reverse of photo (D) - sorry it's a bit scruffy! I've also attached a third photo/postcard of my Granny which I think was taken at the same time - it doesn't have a stamp box. I tried to zoom in to see if she had a wedding ring on but I can't see clearly enough. Thank you.

Hi House2000:

Just a comment on the wedding ring. Depending on what they were doing on the farm, the female servants may have taken their rings off while they were working. So the ring could be absent even with a photo taken later than 1913.

Unfortunately the stampbox doesn't reveal anything except to tell us it's post 1907.
I have to emphasise this isn't normal daywear.
So I'm sticking with the dates I gave.
