Can I jump in again. What Medase says is true, and it's a big step to take.
One possible work around there..... As I recall, when I set up Firefox as my browser it asked permission to transfer all my page settings, bookmarks etc.
You could try setting up Firefox, let it take your page settings, THEN delete Chrome. That's still going to have the same affect as what Medase suggests.
But then, you can download Chrome again, and transfer your settings back to the new refreshed Chrome, then delete Firefox (unless you want to keep it - if you have the space, there is no issue with having two (or 3 if you include IE) browsers stored in your computer. You just tell the computer which one you want as default.
Do you think that's a viable solution Medase?
