:)  Top left of any open window.

That shows Apps, followed by bookmarked sites.  Is that right?

Top right you will see three horizontal bars. Click on this and you will see the Zoom settings.

Midase, as you seem to know Chrome and I don't, I'll leave to you.
Thanks.

Good luck Mrs T

Thanks Dave, and for your time & suggestions.  I don't think they ought to let people like me loose on computers  :-[

First off, is the Zoom site to 100%?
if so, then Press your F11 key to see if it will reset.

Failing that you will have to do the following:
Go to the same place and find Settings. Click to open and go to the bottom of the page. You will see Advanced Settings. At the bottom of this page you will see Restore Browser Settings. Click on the Reset. But this will set your browser to the default setting and you will lose any settings you have made including all site content etc. You will therefore have to start again with what will be a fresh copy of Chrome.

Hi, back again.

F11 didn't do anything.

Your next suggestion re setting the browser to default setting etc - no idea what this all means. Should I do it?

That is your choice. By doing so it will be like having installed the browser as new. Any settings you made will be back to the default. Sites that you visit frequently where you log in with passwords will all be reset. Basically you will be starting afresh.

OK - need to think about this.

Thank you so much for the time you have taken trying to help me, and I am truly grateful for your patience in trying to explain it all.
