Quaker ancestors in Basingstoke

I am trying to find the parents and births of my 5 x gt grandparents - Walter HOLIDAY and Elizabeth MURREL who were married at Basingstoke St Michael 29/10/1759.  I have been searching on and off for a few years. 
Thanks to Anc***** I have found that their children were all " baptised" at the Lower Meeting House Basingstoke.  I've found the useful Quaker FHS website but I am interested to know which parent would have been the Quaker as their son Andrew my direct line, was married and buried at Parish Churches in Nottinghamshire.  Is it similar to the Jewish religion in that the faith or way of life is passed through the female line? Sorry to show my ignorance but I really have no idea.
Having said that, I don't know where to find information about Walter and Elizabeth. It may be that their births are tucked away somewhere in Berkshire records that I cannot access.  The nearest I can find is the baptism of Benjamin Holliday s/o Benjamin and Ann 16/6/1731 at Kingsclere St Mary's who are said to be travellers.  May or may not be connected. 

Any help would be most welcome thank you.

My guess would be that they were both Quakers. Have you checked in the Minute books of the local quaker congregations? They usually hold a lot of infomation.

Basingstoke is in Hampshire, you may want to enquire of the Hampshire Records Office whether have any records to help you (Kingsclere is also in Hampshire)

Some confusion here, I think? The term ‘Meeting House’ is not restricted to Quakers, but is used by other nonconformist denominations too.

According to the online record, Andrew was baptised at the Independent Chapel in London Street, Basingstoke (ref. National Archives, RG4/2106). This is not a Quaker meeting house but a Congregationalist chapel
